OIR -Officer’s intelligence Rating

This test consists of 2 Sets comprising of Verbal and non-verbal reasoning questions. Based on Candidates performance OIR 1-5 is given. It plays an important role in Screening process as sometimes PPDT is not up to the mark but the candidate having good OIR make it to the second phase.

Mantra-Practice Reasoning questions on daily basis for at least 1 month and attempt all questions as there is no negative marking.

Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT)-A picture (generally blur) will be shown for 30 seconds and next 1 minute will be there for writing the details like No. Of characters, age, mood, gender etc. Next 4 minutes will be there to write a story of around 100-120 words. After that candidates are divided in sub groups for individual narration and Group discussion for a common group story. After some time result is announced. Those who make it are called screened in and those who don’t are called Screened out.

Mantra- Observe the stimulus carefully. Make a practical story, be loud during narration and participate efficiently in the GD like a leader not like a salesman.
