It’s a two step selection procedure first UPSC Conducts written offline exam for the aspirants and those who clear the written exam called for interview (generally known as SSB(Service Selection Board)). Interviews are taken by the respective selection boards of army, navy & air force. Those aspirants who gets recommend in interview afterwards they have to clear the medical exams. Final Merit is prepared on the basis of written and interview marks and aspirants are called for Training in accordance with available vacancies.

3 year common training for the merit in aspirants held at NDA Khadakwasla Pune & 1 year training at IMA/INA/AFA according to the choice/allotment of service to the cadets.

Educational Qualification : Class 12^th Passed or Appearing

Gender : Both Boys and Girls are eligible

Age : Between the age of 16.5 and 19.5 (till the time of joining academy)
