About Indian Air Force (X/Y)
Air force Group X & Y (Agniveer Vayu) exam is conducted by Indian Air Force twice in a year to induct aspirant as an airmen in technical and non technical trades. Technical trade job profile involves maintenance and testing of aircraft and various equipments being used by the Indian Air Force. Non-Technical Trade job profile includes assistance and support to the various functions on the ground, clerical work. Notification generally comes in the month of January& May and the exam generally held in the month of April & September.
Selection Procedure
It’s a three step process. First Indian Air Force conducts written exam and those students who clear the written exam calls for Physical Efficiency Test and Adaptability Test 1 & 2 and the last stage is clearing the medical exam. Final merit list is prepared for those who clears all the stages and called for training subjected to available vacancies.

Eligibility
Group X (Except Education Instructor Trade) : Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English or Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream.
Group ‘Y’ {Except Automobile Technician, IAF (P), IAF(S) & Musician} Trades : Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/ State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Age : 17-21 years (Only male candidates are eligible)
What OTS (Officers Training School) offers?
OTS offers 2 year school cum coaching integrated course for the class 10 passed students in which we prepare students for the air force group x and y group exam along with the schooling of class 11 & 12. The 2 years residential course consisting of an exhaustive and varied curriculum is designed to coach and train students to ace Group X & Y exams along with exhaustive PET and Adaptability Test Preparations.
We also offers 100 days short duration course for Group X & Y exam. We recommend this course for only those whose Class 12 math and physics basics are clear otherwise it become difficult to cover whole maths and science syllabus with basics within short duration course.
